Our practice is committed to providing you with safe, gentle, high quality dental care. We understand that you may feel anxious about visiting the dentist. We are sensitive to your needs, and it is our goal to make you feel comfortable visiting our practice while providing you with the best care possible.
We understand your time is valuable, so we reserve your appointment time just for you. You can plan on being seen on time, and getting out in time to continue your day. We do ask that for your consideration in giving us a day or two if you need to change an appointment so that we can offer that time to someone else.
1. Comprensive examination- At our initial examination, we start by discussing your concerns about your smile, your health, your past dental experiences, or whatever you would like me to know to make sure you get what you want from our office. Together we'll do a thorough examination of your teeth, gums, jaw joint, muscles, and oral health. We'll get appropriate x-rays and take photographs so that we can discuss together what you like or don't like about your current conditions. This appointment will take about an hour and a half, and before you leave we'll decide exactly what your next steps will be for treatment or for further evaluation. Because I think it is important to make a thorough diagnosis and treatment plan before beginning treatment, we generally do not clean teeth at the initial appointment, but if this is something important to you, just ask.
2. Emergency Visits- If you are having discomfort or problems, we want to help. Every effort will be made to see you the day you call. Once you are comfortable we hope you will consider beginning a good preventive program to prevent future problems.
3. Complimentary Consultation-If you are uncertain whether we are the right office for you, if you'd like a second opinion, or just have questions, we are happy to provide a complimentary consultation.
Just give us a call and Dottie will be happy to help you decide the type of appointment most appropriate for you.
Since every patient differs, we'll work with you to establish a preventive program that will keep you on track for an uneventful dental life. Whether its every 3 months or once a year, regular checkups are the best way to keep smiling!
