In our Washington, DC office, our process involves creating a diagnostic denture to work out all the details of your individual situation before creating a final denture. We can verify the bite, try tooth shape and position, and optimize function-and you can try it out before we finish. Once everything is to your satisfaction, we use the diagnostic denture as a blueprint for the final. You then can keep the diagnostic denture to use as a spare.

Sometimes physical and functional conditions prevent us from developing the retention and stability that a patient desires. The diagnostic process allows us to determine this before finishing the denture. The good news is that dental implants can be used to anchor complete dentures as well as individual teeth.
